Why I love to tell my story
We are created for abundant living, yet too many of us live with unhealthy amounts of anxiety and discontentment that robs us of our joy! When we are able to understand who we were created to be, we significantly increase our chances of enjoying deeper relationships, better communication and happier living with those we love the most! Through writing, teaching, speaking and coaching, I hope to change the culture of comparison and show others by example how to live in contentment, decrease anxiety and maximize joy!
As for my credentials, I hold a Master's and EdS in Educational Psychology and am a licensed school psychologist, as well as a certified life coach. In my local church, I have served in women's ministry, children's ministry, youth ministry and my husband and I have lead an adult Life Group for more than twenty years. I host a weekly Bible study in my home and have spoken to groups large and small over the years. While those things may give me some credibility, by far my greatest asset is my personal testimony of overcoming an eating disorder and lifelong battle with insecurity and fear. I love to share how God has given me grace and mercy far beyond what I deserve to help mold me into exactly who he wants me to be for His glory.
